A COLLECTOR IN NORWAY

Here is BRIAREUS from my award-winning series TARTARUS in the home of a collector in Norway, my home country. The artwork was part of a summer group show at Galleri A (Oslo) in 2022, and I’m so pleased to see that it has found a good home next to the deep and mysterious fjords along the west coast. Norway is famous for its dramatic landscapes formed by the ice age, and the UK has its gems in nature too, in this case as a result of direct human manipulation of the tree. Strong forces leave their marks in different ways.
